Mild weather, an active tourist trade with its associated restaurants and hotels, the natural beauty and characteristics of the mountains, and facilities such as the new World Arena, all combine to make the Region a most desirable place to live. As of the beginning of 2008, the average sales price in the Pikes Peak Region is about $260k and the median is around $226k.
